Charlotte Deep Cleaning That Uses Certified Products in Every Corner of Your Home

A deep clean is only as good as what goes into it. Most Charlotte cleaning services that offer deep cleaning bring the same products they use for a standard visit – conventional chemical cleaners that get surfaces visually clean but leave residue your family lives with afterward. The Organic Maids approaches deep cleaning differently. Every product we use has been independently certified: either Green Seal, an EPA-recognized standard for environmental and ingredient safety, or EWG Verified, the Environmental Working Group’s standard for avoiding ingredients linked to documented health concerns. When we go deep into the oven, the inside of cabinets, the baseboards, the grout lines – every surface gets cleaned to a certified standard, not just scrubbed clean and left chemically treated.

We have been cleaning Charlotte homes since 2012 and have completed more than 80,000 property cleanings across more than 7,000 households. The deep cleaning clients we serve fall into a few consistent situations: households that have not had a professional clean in several months, clients switching from another service who want to start fresh, homes coming out of construction or renovation, and long-term clients booking a quarterly reset between recurring visits. In every case, the scope is the same: every room, every surface, everything that a standard clean skips.

What Deep Cleaning Covers That a Standard Visit Does Not

A standard recurring clean maintains a home that is already in good condition. It covers the kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces on a consistent schedule – and keeps a well-kept home looking that way. Deep cleaning is a different operation. It addresses the accumulation that builds up in the places a standard clean does not reach: the inside of the oven, the inside of the refrigerator, cabinet interiors, blinds cleaned slat by slat, baseboards scrubbed, interior windows cleaned, closet interiors vacuumed. The furniture gets moved, not worked around. The areas behind appliances get addressed.

For a home that has been vacant, inherited, or simply not professionally maintained in several months, a deep clean establishes the baseline that makes recurring service worthwhile. There is no point in maintaining a home that has not been properly reset first. For a home that has just been renovated or had construction work, deep cleaning removes the fine particulate dust that settles into every surface and vent – the kind that does not respond to a standard wipe-down. For a home that is already on a recurring schedule, a quarterly or semi-annual deep clean handles the areas that accumulate slowly between regular visits.

Green Seal and EWG Verified – Even in the Difficult Places

The Organic Maids

The inside of an oven, the interior of a refrigerator, the grout lines in a shower – these are the surfaces that see the harshest conventional cleaning products. Industrial degreasers and bleach-based scrubs work on those surfaces, but they also leave behind residues in the places your family stores food, prepares food, and bathes. We do not use them. Our full product set – including the heavy-duty applications needed for a deep clean – has been certified against Green Seal or EWG Verified standards.

Green Seal is an EPA-recognized third-party certification for environmental and ingredient safety. EWG Verified is the Environmental Working Group’s standard for avoiding ingredients linked to documented health concerns – the same database parents use to evaluate household products for children and infants. Both certifications require meeting a published, independently verified standard. Neither is a marketing label. Every surface we clean during a deep visit – including the ones that require the most aggressive approach – gets cleaned with products that meet one or both of those standards.

We also finish every cleaning, including deep cleans, with organic essential oils throughout the home. Not a commercial air freshener applied on top of chemical smell. When the team leaves, the house smells the way a clean house should: light, fresh, and inviting.

What We Do on Every Deep Cleaning Visit

Deep cleaning follows the same room-by-room standard for every home we serve.

Kitchen

Cabinet interiors and exteriors are cleaned, countertops and backsplash are scrubbed and sanitized, the stovetop and drip pans are thoroughly cleaned, the microwave is cleaned inside and out, the oven interior is cleaned, the refrigerator and freezer are cleaned inside and out, all appliances are wiped down, and the floor is vacuumed and mopped.

Bathrooms

Sinks, countertops, and toilets are washed and sanitized, showers and tubs are scrubbed free of soap scum and buildup, glass and mirrors are cleaned streak-free, light fixtures and fans are wiped down, cabinet exteriors and interiors are cleaned, and floors are vacuumed and mopped.

All Rooms

Blinds are washed slat by slat, baseboards and molding are scrubbed, cobwebs are removed, furniture is vacuumed including under cushions, interior windows are cleaned, ceiling fans and light fixtures are cleaned, doors and door frames are washed, light switches are wiped, closet interiors are vacuumed, and floors are vacuumed and mopped including under furniture.

When Charlotte Households Book a Deep Clean

The most common reason is that it has simply been a while. If a home has not had a professional clean in three or more months, a standard visit is the wrong starting point – the accumulation needs to be addressed before regular maintenance makes sense. Most clients who book this way go on to establish a recurring schedule after the deep clean is done.

Move-ins are the second most common booking. Moving into a home that looks clean is not the same as moving into a home that has been cleaned to a certified standard. Cabinet interiors, appliance interiors, closets, and tile grout carry what previous occupants left behind regardless of how the home presents visually. A move-in deep clean addresses that before your family starts living there.

Post-construction and post-renovation are the third. Construction dust is not normal household dust – it is finer, it penetrates further, and it settles into vents, light fixtures, and surfaces in a way that does not come out with a standard clean. We handle post-construction cleanups for renovation projects of all sizes throughout the Charlotte area.

One-time deep cleans for seasonal refreshes, pre-event preparation, or extended-vacancy properties round out the rest. Pricing is based on your home’s size and current condition. Call (704) 266-1150 or fill out the quote form below for an accurate estimate.

Common Questions About Deep Cleaning in Charlotte

How long does a deep clean take?

For most Charlotte homes, between four and eight hours. Larger homes or homes with significant buildup take longer. We provide a time estimate with your quote based on your home’s specific size and condition.

What is the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?

A standard visit maintains a home that is already clean. A deep clean addresses everything a standard visit skips: inside appliances, inside cabinets, baseboards scrubbed, blinds cleaned slat by slat, interior windows, closet interiors. It is a complete reset rather than ongoing maintenance.

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

Clearing countertops of small items and making sure we have access to all rooms helps. We handle everything else. You do not need to do any pre-cleaning – that is what the deep clean is for.

Do the Green Seal and EWG Verified certifications apply to the deep clean products too?

Yes. The same certification standards apply across everything we bring to a deep clean, including the products used on ovens, tile grout, and other surfaces that require more intensive cleaning. No conventional chemical cleaners are used at any point.

Can I book a deep clean as a one-time service?

Yes. We offer standalone deep cleans with no commitment. Many clients book a one-time deep clean to establish a baseline before starting a recurring schedule. Others book periodically – quarterly or semi-annually – alongside a regular maintenance plan.

What if the result does not meet my expectations?

Let us know within 24 hours. We return and address anything that fell short – no argument, no complicated process. This has been the policy since 2012.
